Boiler Structure

The small-scale fluidized bed boiler is the boiler adopting the circulated fluidized combustion method. As a new type ofcombustion equipment, the boiler has a wide applicabillty of fuels. It can burn the coal with low calorific value of around 1,500 to 6,000kcal/kg or other fuels with low volatile content. Not only quality coal but also gangue, oil shale and thecoal with caloric value of around 1,000kcal/kg can be normally and stably burned on the boiling bed. Thus, the boller isof important practical and social significance in the present days of scarce energy and rising fuel price.

The boiler has the following advantages:wide applicability of fuels, adoption of inferior fuels and unburned slag as fuel;high unit thermal load of the hearth, high conducting coefficient of the bed and high combustion efficiency(up to 90%to95%).Fuels are pre-crushed into the particles of smaller than 8mm.They are fed by the speed variable coal feeder intothe boiling fluidized bed and turned over under the effect of high-pressure air.Fuels can stay long in the furnace and burnsufficiently.

With a low combustion temperature,it can effectively control the generation and emission of NOX and SOX during thecombustion process, representing a clean combustion technology. It also has a wide load regulation range and goodregulating performance. It is not easy for the slag to be softened or glued, thus facilitating comprehensive utilization. Also, the cycled combustion method is adopted, with complete fuel combustion.
